Speedtest result of my virtual private server

My curiosity of how well this server network performance led me to install Ookla Speedtest CLI app.

The speedtest app gives more information than the python based speedtest-cli package and has uuid like url output instead of unique numbers with the python speedtest-cli package.

Update: The server is moved to a new droplet on Fri Mar 8 03:39:40 UTC 2024.

Update: As of Sat Apr 20 02:32:26 AM UTC 2024, this webspace is served on Linode. Before getting served on Linode, the webspace was briefly served on Vultr with unfortunate problem and no backup of the site when on Vultr.

Update: Getting another server on Vultr as replacement. Here is the speedtest result as of Tue Apr 23 05:36:54 AM UTC 2024.

Update: As of Wed May 1 01:08:25 AM UTC 2024, this website is hosted on Alibaba Cloud. Unfortunately, the egress speed is limited at 1 mbps.

Update: Got another Alibaba cloud instance, which is smaller than previous instance. About the same speed as the previous instance.
